Personalized Deep Reading
Single Card Illumination
One card, read the whole way down.
- $1.99 USD · one time
- One card
- About 350–500 words
- Delivered straight away
Most free one-card draws hand you a paragraph of general card meaning and leave the rest to you. A Single Card Illumination does the opposite: you write the question, one card is dealt to it, and the whole reading is about how that card answers that question — the core meaning, how it reads in the position, what it is asking of you this week, and where it might be easy to misread.
It is the shortest thing we make and the easiest way to see whether this kind of reading is for you. Nothing about the craft is reduced: the same writing, the same keepsake document, the same at-a-glance panel. There is simply one card in it.
You write the question, review the total, and pay through the secure checkout. Delivered straight away.
Who it suits
- You have one clear question rather than a tangled situation.
- You want a considered answer today, not a spread to sit with for a month.
- You have never bought a personalized reading and would rather risk $1.99 than $29.
- You already draw daily and want one card taken seriously for once.
The spread, position by position
A single-card spread has one position, and the position is the question itself. Everything the card carries — its element, its number, whether it landed upright or reversed — is read as an answer to what you asked, rather than as a general character sketch of the card.
- The heart of itThe one position in this spread. It asks what is actually at the centre of the question you brought — not the surface complaint but the thing underneath it that the rest is arranged around. A card here is read three ways at once: what it traditionally means, what it means standing in this position, and what it means for the specific situation you described.
What is inside your reading
Every Single Card Illumination is written to the question you type in, in this order:
- An openingTwo short paragraphs at most, naming your question back to you and the card that came to meet it.
- The card, in its positionThe main body: the card's core meaning, how it reads for your question, what it invites, and what it might be warning against.
- Weaving It TogetherThe synthesis — what the dominant theme of this draw actually is, said plainly.
- In the Coming DaysThree concrete, grounded suggestions you could act on this week.
- Your AffirmationOne or two short repeatable lines, written for this reading.
- Journal PromptsExactly three prompts to write against.
- A Gentle CloseA short closing paragraph.
About 350–500 words in total. It arrives by email, it stays readable in your account, and you can download it as the keepsake document described below.
A sample of the writing
An excerpt from a real Mystical Sparkle deep reading — a card read in its position
The Chariot, reversed
The Chariot speaks of willpower harnessed to a clear destination — but reversed, those reins feel slack, tangled, or held too tightly. In your present moment, the stability you’ve built no longer pulls you forward; going through the motions has drained the charge from your engine. This is not a sign of failure. It’s a recalibration: the chariot isn’t broken, it’s waiting for you to remember what you’re actually driving toward.
What would it feel like to hold the reins more gently — letting the horses carry you rather than forcing direction?
A verbatim passage from one of our own generated sample readings. No customer’s reading is ever published, and we do not publish reviews, ratings or testimonials.
The keepsake document
Every reading is also built as a designed document you can download, keep and print — set in the same Ritual Almanac style as this page, gold on deep navy, and self-contained so it opens with no network at all.
- A title leaf carrying the reading's name, the date it was completed, its order reference, and your question set in its own framed panel.
- “The Cards Drawn” — every card in an engraved gold frame, named with its position and turned upside down on the page when it fell reversed. Dealt once at purchase and sealed to that order.
- “Reading at a Glance” — a small elemental balance chart with one ring per card (Wands→Fire, Cups→Water, Swords→Air, Pentacles→Earth, Major Arcana→Spirit), a Major/Minor count, an upright/reversed count, and chips naming the threads that recur across the draw.
- The reading itself, each chapter opened by a gold Roman numeral, with the affirmation and journal prompts set off in their own panels.
- A closing colophon with the four-point Sparkle seal. The file is a self-contained document: open it offline, keep it, or print it.
At this tier the keepsake carries the card plate, the at-a-glance panel and the full reading. The engraved spread plate, the almanac figures, the printable affirmation card and the journal pages belong to the two larger readings below — that is the honest difference between the tiers.
Delivery, honestly
Your card is dealt the moment payment is confirmed and the reading is written and delivered straight away — usually inside a couple of minutes. These are digital products: your cards are dealt and your reading begins as soon as payment is confirmed, so you are asking for delivery to start immediately. You will find the reading in your account and in your inbox, and the keepsake is yours to download whenever you like.
At checkout you tick a box asking for the reading to be prepared and delivered straight away and confirming that you understand you lose your 14-day right to cancel once it has been delivered; we confirm that back to you in the delivery email. Because that consent is given, once a reading has been delivered it is not refunded. This does not affect your rights if a reading is faulty, not delivered, or not as described — write to [email protected] and we will put it right. Before delivery, an unpaid checkout can be cancelled from your orders list at no cost.
The four deep readings
All four are written to your own question, delivered by email and readable in your account, and downloadable as a keepsake document. They differ in how many cards are turned, how long the reading runs, and how much of the keepsake is built.

Questions
- How long does it take to arrive?
- It is written and delivered straight away, normally within a few minutes of payment being confirmed. It arrives by email and is also waiting in your account.
- Can I choose the card?
- No. The card is dealt once, at purchase, and sealed to your order — that is what the line at the foot of the card plate means. Choosing it would make the draw meaningless.
- What if my question is long or complicated?
- Then this is the wrong reading for it. One card answers one question well. For a situation with several moving parts, the Three-Card Path or the Five-Card Compass has room to hold it.
- Do I need a membership?
- No. Deep readings are one-time purchases and work with or without Sparkle Pro.
- Can I keep it?
- Yes. It stays readable in your account, it is emailed to you, and you can download the keepsake document and print it.
One-time purchase. No membership required. Delivered straight away. Digital content: once a reading has been delivered it is not refunded, and this does not affect your rights if a reading is faulty, not delivered, or not as described.
