Personalized Deep Reading

Celtic Cross Atlas

The full Celtic Cross, read position by position.

Ten tarot cards in the Celtic Cross layout, a six-card cross beside a four-card staff, for a Celtic Cross Atlas reading.
Ten cards: the six-card cross, and the staff that reads it outward.

The Celtic Cross is the deepest spread in common use because it refuses to let a situation stay simple. Ten positions ask ten different questions — what is happening, what crosses it, what it stands on, what it came from, what it could become, what is nearly here, who you are being in it, what surrounds you, what you are hoping and dreading at the same time, and where it tends. Read properly, it is less a fortune and more an atlas: a map of one question with all its terrain on it.

This is the longest and most complete reading we make. It carries every section of the Five-Card Compass, adds a month-by-month look at the season ahead, and closes with a letter written directly to you. The keepsake opens on a formal cover leaf, carries the full engraved spread map and four almanac figures, and ends with ruled journal pages built to be printed.

Who it suits

The spread, position by position

The Celtic Cross has two halves. The first six cards build the cross itself — the present with its crossing card laid over it, then the foundation below, the recent past behind, the crown above and the near future ahead. The last four rise as a staff beside it, moving from you outward to the world and back to where the whole thing tends. Every one of the ten is read against your question, in this order.

What is inside your reading

Every Celtic Cross Atlas is written to the question you type in, in this order:

About 3,000–3,800 words in total. It arrives by email, it stays readable in your account, and you can download it as the keepsake document described below.

An excerpt from a Celtic Cross Atlas — the Foundation position of a real ten-card reading

Four of Swords, upright · position 3, the foundation

Beneath your transition lies the Four of Swords, upright — a card of deliberate rest, stillness, and recovery. This is the foundation of your situation, which is a beautiful and necessary truth. It tells me that your anxiety and your burden-release are not tasks to be solved with more effort. The foundation you are standing on is itself a need for rest. The Four of Swords is a chapel, a quiet room, a healing bed. It suggests that before you can see clearly, you may need to create space for your system to settle.

This is especially important because the foundation of a transition determines its integrity. The Four of Swords reminds me that you are not building a new career from anxiety; you are building it from recovered strength. You cannot pour purpose from an empty cup, and the card at the foundation of this reading is telling you to fill yourself first.

The keepsake document

Every reading is also built as a designed document you can download, keep and print — set in the same Ritual Almanac style as this page, gold on deep navy, and self-contained so it opens with no network at all.

Every figure and both plates are derived from your own draw and nothing else, so the same ten cards always produce the same artwork. This is the only tier with the cover leaf and the journal pages.

Delivery, honestly

Your ten cards are dealt the moment payment is confirmed, and the reading is composed in depth and delivered within 2–4 hours. Your account shows the time it is due, and it is emailed to you when it is ready. These are digital products: your cards are dealt and your reading begins as soon as payment is confirmed, so you are asking for delivery to start immediately. You will find the reading in your account and in your inbox, and the keepsake is yours to download whenever you like.

At checkout you tick a box asking for the reading to be prepared and delivered straight away and confirming that you understand you lose your 14-day right to cancel once it has been delivered; we confirm that back to you in the delivery email. Because that consent is given, once a reading has been delivered it is not refunded. This does not affect your rights if a reading is faulty, not delivered, or not as described — write to [email protected] and we will put it right. Before delivery, an unpaid checkout can be cancelled from your orders list at no cost.

The four deep readings

All four are written to your own question, delivered by email and readable in your account, and downloadable as a keepsake document. They differ in how many cards are turned, how long the reading runs, and how much of the keepsake is built.

Questions

Is this the real, traditional Celtic Cross?
Yes — all ten positions, in the traditional order, each one read against your question rather than described in the abstract. The ten positions are set out in full above.
Why does it take 2–4 hours?
Because three to four thousand words composed against ten positions is not something to rush. Your cards are dealt and sealed at purchase; your account shows the time it is due, and it is emailed to you when it is ready.
What does “The Season Ahead” actually name?
The next three calendar months, by name, from the month your reading is written. Each gets its own passage — the theme it carries, what it asks, and one thing to keep at the centre.
How is it different from the Five-Card Compass?
Ten cards instead of five, roughly twice the length again, plus the season ahead, the letter written to you, the cover leaf, four figures instead of two, and printable journal pages.
Can I use it to decide something serious?
Use it to think, not to decide for you. It is written for reflection and entertainment and gives no medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
Do I need a membership?
No. It is a one-time purchase and works with or without Sparkle Pro.
