If Justice has come up as feelings in your spread, the cards are answering what someone feels with the scales that notice everything. This page unpacks that answer — upright, reversed, and in plain language.

What Justice means as feelings

Think of the emotional weather as the frame and Justice as the picture. The frame asks about what someone feels; the picture shows the scales that notice everything — Justice, fairness, truth, cause and effect, law. Put them together and the upright meaning is: what someone feels is currently characterised by justice, fairness, truth, law, and the card endorses that state rather than warning against it.

It helps to remember what this card is not. Justice is not a verdict about worth; it is a description of truth in motion. The scales that notice everything — held lightly, that theme informs without imprisoning. The cards describe weather; you still choose the clothing.

Justice reversed as feelings

Reversed, Justice as feelings turns the reading inward. The the scales that notice everything does not disappear — justice, fairness, truth, law inverted become delayed, private, or blocked. Where the upright card answers what someone feels openly, the reversal suggests the answer is unfinished: felt but unspoken, intended but unacted, approaching but not arrived. Read it as a draft rather than a denial.
